Give staff cooking lessons

Get your colleagues to take part in a cooking course and promote low or sugar-free recipes.

  • Take your staff to a cookery school for a team-building day. Make sure you choose a healthy cookery class.
  • Or if you have the facilities on site, ask a cookery teacher to come to you.
  • Find your nearest Ministry of Food and sign up.
  • If there is a local food partnership in your area, check if their members run training session.

Knowing how to cook from scratch can have a hugely positive effect on our long-term eating habits, and help us achieve a balanced diet. If you can cook, you can make the most of ingredients when they're in season, at their best and at their cheapest. Even better, you can pass on your skills to others.
