Camino restaurants take action on sugar
The chain of Spanish tapas bars is leading the way in implementing the sugary drinks levy.
Camino joined the Children’s Health Fund and adopted the sugary drinks levy in October 2015. Their contributions have allowed the Children’s Health Fund to give grants of £128,000 in 2016 towards improving access to drinking water for children and providing meals during holidays.
Richard Bigg, the Managing Director of Camino said “We are delighted to be working with such an inspiring organisation – a really wonderful way to be able to help the next generation to live healthier lives”.
